View The Full Version : Various Tipologi Cables
Good evening, I am new to the forum. I would like to know, if possible, what are the different types of cables (and their differences) that you can use to read/write the eprom.
Thanks in advance.
What you call cables really? we call interfaces, and there are various types.
the pi? common\common ones are
Kess V2 and Jtag and Ktag alientech
Galletto v2 Fgtech
Mpps.
Kess and rooster are the pi? complete and allow for in addition to read and write from the serial port the cio? on the car also work directly on the ecu tour.
Mpps c'? version only cable with the box and allows you to work only via the serial port.
This ? a basis for the distinctions of the various interfaces.
Thanks for the reply. Searching on the forum, I have noticed that there are two sections on the "cables" hardware (where there are interfaces that you have just mentioned), and diagnosis. what are the differences? The cables "diagnosis" may not be used for reading/writing with ecm titanium?

Not to contraddirti but MPPS to also read the Boot on Bosch EDC15 ME7 and ST10F168 up to ST10F296
As far as the "cables diagnosis"?
The cables diagnosis as the word says, only serve to make the diagnosis. The Cio? with a sw type Multiecuscan that ? a sw diagnosis for car of the fiat group allow you to view the parameters of the car and run to the cancellation of errors etc, But not allow the read and write of the map.
they are not cables are "INTERFACES" for both diagnostic for reading and writing the ecu, we call the things by its name.
These interfaces for the diagnosis allow you to turn off lights error, manage, km, etc? They connect to the obd also?
Sure you always connect to the obd but they allow the turning off lights, reset service maintenance , regeneration of the dpf ,display parameters, etc, but absolutely not allow the changes of the km if ? what do you mean, manage km. If not, it would be too easy to fix the speedo.
I understand, to manage the miles you use the same kit to map?
