I'm curious, I once read a discussion on how to program a PSG16,
if I remember well, it served the Tech 2, you have to have the pin from car where it was taken and where it is mounted.
they said that pu? also be done with Opcom but it did not work.
that pump mount ? ..I find a document that describes the procedure.

You may connect the injection pump old through the wiring, turn on the ignition and then disconnect again the wiring and connect it to the new pump without turning off the picture..it should work...I've done it a month f? on a audi a 6 always pump bosch vp series.Let us know...

I know the VP on the opel does not require recoding, while on the focus (which uses the same system).

Even if the discussion is very old , I was useful .
Tomorrow I have to do one at a workshop and I thought to do it with carprog.
Even if I have the tech2 last week I made a rod g 1.6 cng system ori .
I managed to copy the ecu the old and reprogram the new one from recovery without tech2.
