Sorry for the trivial question, I know someone would say how do you identify via the OBD which ecu ? mounted on the machine and what software to use to do this? Thanks.

on the basis of the car that you insert a tool kess, mpps, cock, etc. and make the ecu id : identification data. or diagnosis, or better if you can see the ecu read the model
bosch,denso,marelli, visteon etc etc

For now, still nothing, I wanted to start to understand something before risking throwing money away. What do you advise me to start with?

you may opt for the cock with a single product, do a lot of things covers a wide range of cars ,over-all, the system works both in serial and bench etc etc...

It always depends on how much work you can get us out. Buy the complete equipment of the original hw and sw
Do you spend a lot of money. If your amount of work allows you to council for the purchase of original products and not the clones.

For the moment, the amount of work ? nothing...
I think that will start? from spicy.
The Ktag would be the evolution of the kess or am I wrong?

only the k tags work differently from kess qst'last works in serial ,while the ktag bdm, jtag, etc, in practice, you have to open the ecu

claus
30-11-2014, 21:54

Definitely and by far the original product, but the price difference ? abysmal, I that do it for a hobby I can't afford that expense, and I assure you that I made a little something.
If I can find it maybe used definitely me, I'll take it!!!

the backup only do this with the ktag, the kess you only reads the file where are the maps

I correct myself, as the software I have used on their computers. To use Ktag I have to read it in the BDM or am I wrong?
