Identification ecu model

Sorry for the trivial question, I know someone would say how do you identify via the OBD which ecu ? mounted on the machine and what software to use to do this? Thanks.

on the basis of the car that you insert a tool kess,mpps,cock, etc. and make the ecu id : identification data. or diagnosis, or better if you can see the ecu read the model
bosch,denso,marelli, visteon etc etc

With regard to backup....today I read a SID 206 with the kess but has not given me the chance? to do so. C'? some trick to do the same?

the backup only do this with the ktag, the kess you only reads the file where are the maps

The ktag you can use it only on the bench...has various functions...bdm.. boot ..jtag
