hi all I have a question to ask you.
what tool used to calibrate the sensor on the power steering gear according to you ? can perform the procedure with a simple multimeter?

no need for the tool bench or dignosi

that diagnosis I could use? because not all make the calibration of the sonsore of torque...and tools bvanco you have something to recommend?

any diagnosis while you face interloquiare with ecu delphi 2

so in theory I should be able with my since I used delphi, but I have noticed that on some type ypsilon does not give me the calibration torque/position while I have the function on a great point and other

I have kts bosch, goes well on point/panda, while on the grande punto and the like does not make me a correct calibration.

with dephi 2013.02 you can't?

I use the multimeter to? no hom but volt food the sensor with 5v and reveal the differential voltage generated by the two internal potentiometers on the sensor, try:

With multiecuscan works without problems

thanks for the idea alien78, I almost do a little by sticking to the jack.

how do you figure out which of the wires must be powered on?and the value in ohms in close proximity? 0 how much should enforce them?

if you can put the sensor and remove the latch with delicacy ..many times I do not even take the diagnosis!!!

I don't think that is possible on models with esp maybe wrong...

with esp,the problem can? birth but usually ? why? the sensor indicates 180? when in fact? the wheels are straight, then in my case I turned the steering column up to 0? wheels straight

I calzandoli with a bit of foresight often I don't have to even calibrate...and then possibly with brainbee it just takes a moment

carlo abarth
with esp and different but! we want a diagnosis!!

franco-electr
good idea on the multimeter and I'll try it at the first opportunity, thanks

Guys I don't know if this is the right section, but because these sensors couple I guess...I will explain:
I have a delta 1.6 mjt 120 cv with exchange selectronic, sporadically and at irregular intervals I will turn on classic lights Dell Esp, abs, and checker steering. In diagnosis, I find myself as a failure, the "sensor steering" the code almomento I don't remember however and it solves everything ricalibrando the same...since when is faulty will not work l Esp and the return of the steering is almost absent is uncomfortable as well as nerve-racking having to drive in these conditions until I have the time to redo the calibration.I would add that sometimes is not happening to me for several months, sometimes happens to me more times in the past two weeks.in some cases, even enough for me to rotate the tires on both sides to realign everything.someone knows what it is?the same thing happens to my friend with the same car but with manual transmission only with greater frequency.

giuseppe89
Any advice?there has never happened?

carlo abarth
I believe that the sensor loses the calibration for the rupture of the same!!!

giuseppe89
The strange thing is that it then works for months and months, before a few days ago for the first time since before the summer...mah

ugoboss
if you get error on the sensor you have to start from that, and replace it.

franco-electr
has anyone ever calibrated the sensors the ones with the flat that must be soldered directly on the ecu with the multimeter and how to connect to it?

ugoboss
the ones with the flat are very sensitive and should be calibrated precisely at 0 I don't know if it is done with a multimeter.

giuseppe89
I know that there are templates centering for these sensors or something like that because in the past, I was proposed to buy one.Changing several I suggest you enquire from your dealer to avoid trouble and make everything faster.
