View The Full Version : Kess and problems in reading, writing...
Hi all!
I have always worked with the ecu on the bench, avoiding read/write via serial...
I wanted to try from the serial with the Kess with a Bwm 520d.
Read me asks for the value of the resistance...and write me says checksum error...
Where do I get the correct value of the resistance? checksum error why? the ecu is not ? supported?
thanks in advance!
hello, but you're talking about kess 1 or 2?
I'm talking about the kess v2

the c31 the flight, perhaps c'? anything that interferes with the software, on which operating system did you install it?
Use xp sp2...and the software suite k has caused me a few issues...
However, the interface and a clone

then do so, install win7 32-bit and retry, you'll see that it works well, for xp you need at least sp3 32-bit, on 64-bit systems, the clones have some problem
then I installed the k-suite on 2 laptops, one with xp sp2 and the other with windows 7 32-bit:
on xp is giving me the problems described above;
on windows 7, k-suite does not start with the kess...
I'm hacking to get it to work but I am left with the conviction that ? better to work at the bench with the ecu... am I wrong?

you need to update the pi? can win7 and then download the visual c++2005 or 2008 you will see that it works
Hello.. Do Not ? if you have other ftdi drivers installed on the pc?

also this could give you problems ? true, I had uninstalled everything, and after the installation on their computers, reinstalled the rest
For the rest, what do you mean? Other programmers with ftdi drivers? Not good

exactly, for example if you have installed mpps or elm327 or the wing or the other, there may be conflicts

install the k suite ori then the disistalli and put your version
shares in full Legend is ori do not connect toll remove and put the installation of the clone, then test to see that you are OK.......
ok I will try and tell you
Why? install on their computers ori?
uninstalled everything...
On XP I have installed the k-suite ori, uninstalled and installed the clone... still no go...
On Windows 7 the same procedure but on this operating system does not open the K-Suite...
interface problem?
But you recognize the usb interface.
on windows 7, the program does not open, on the windows xp interface the law, but when I am going to write to me says "checksum error"
