cutting file smart brabus 896kb to 832kb

hi all I have a doubt....I have to say that I tried to cut a fle smart brabus bed with fgtech on me7 ecu.7.0 to allow the ecm to recognize it but without success...if you can I would like to know the procedure. I have seen on the forum in 2 rows, one cut and one not, but I am not able to understand how it was cut.thanks in advance

cut from 00008000 to 0000ffff
remove a block from 64kb

with ecm:
go to the men? "tools"
then "conversion"
then "cut and paste files"
open the file you want to trim
starting in a low voice, "user defined"
then in the start box, scirvi 010000
should ridarti a file from 832
