Since everyone in the forum speak of the problems of reading and writing to this old Ecu EDC15 I thought I would do something to please give some tips for reading and writing beyond the usual precautions of the battery charged both the pc and the vehicle list other.

Pc side:
1 set in the pc start, control panel, power options all of the options to never
2 turn off the antivirus, and wi-fi

On MPPS
1 read Options check Complete K-line and a Security-bypass (vag edc15 only)
2 Set the audi a4 ecu 1.9 tdi, bosch, EDC15 KI line
3 speed Options? Medium

Side car
1 on the left to access the fuses, remove the fuse 4 fan cooling cooler
2 turn off the climate and the lights all off

Turn the ignition the car and proceed to reading and writing.
If there is a problem on options speed? tick Slow (recovery)
At the end if it should remain on the light anomaly motors reset with vagcom
Remember this applies to cars Audi A4 B6 years 2002-2004

I tried to read one of these just the other day.
There are successful with Cock V54 that with kessv2 2.6 clones both.
I also attacked a l power supply to stabilize the voltage
He was with both readers waiting to read the map, but was not moving forward
Suggestions?
Thanks a lot

I had your same problem and I solved it using the old galletto 1250.
