Hello all,
I wanted to know your opinion on the carsoft 7.4 mercedes.
I took a multiplex 7.4 to troubleshoot and monitor a problem of consumption of my sportcoupe w203 2003.
convinced of his ability to see the data from the engine control unit (edc16) I had the unpleasant evidence that does not connect with the ecu.
All I see is good almost all the others... including that of the exchange drive that I would never have told you to read...
According to you there is no way to do it ? maybe by moving the pin assignment of the connector ??? I doubt that it is only a matter of multiplexing wrong since version 7.4 should read all of the machines up to 2004...
according to you, I hope to do something????

with regard to autocom... I also have one.. it's so good. But nothing about what I needed!
After that I changed the swirl I have serious problems of consumption.. before redo the ecu I wanted to understand what happens under the 2000 rpm where it seems to be too fat..

hello house, we have the w203 sedan but edc15, the injectors do not see them with autocom. I have problems on the ezs are tt deactivated keys

the problem is simple !!! removed the swirl and the egr... all perfect. but the loss of performance and fuel consumption is high. Especially under the regime full of the turbine, where the well-known smoke and a drop in performance. I believe that you disable the swirl mechanically and not by the map has helped.. but before acting on the rail pressure and the torque limiters I wanted to be sure not to have any injector out-of-phase. Hard to say... and go in a mercedes would do little seen, which do not provide for this type of changes, and their quote for the repair was around 1800 euro.... unthinkable !!
the ecu is a edc16. and the medium has the nag5... then before each change I wanted to study at the bottom of the pattern and figure out how to change every particular, without going to trial... the thing that I hate to do a priori, without a minimum of theoretical certainties!!!!
unfortunately, I have asked several times to the opinion of someone who has more experience... but no one wanted to ever share your opinion ! so look.. in the meantime I have made over 10000 km, and everything is stable. Even I noticed that it consumes less taking the engine above 2000 rpm. And the computer board obviously takes the butterflies.. even indicates consumption of close to 20 per litre when I don't I get even with the wind at your back above the 13.... an exaggeration !!! at the best of times, I was always next to the 16..

the exchange should have need of a change of a dry ( every 60000 km), if you have any error can be or that should be replaced on a socket.
cos? not ? simple without knowing a minimum of things, if you can by a p? values.

no error motor exchange. Maintenance and washes exchange facts with regularity... but nothing do with my problem. .

I have a W203 2.7 CDI 2001 and are 272.000 Km....
I too have the same problem with the multiplex car soft 7.4 reading to me from all the units, except that of the motor....
With regard to the increase of the consumption ? perfectly normal if you've changed the swirl removing it out of the way, as the cos? doing, you have changed the torque curve deteriorandola strongly at low revs..... As far as I know the problems of the collectors of these machines, when you reach Kilometraggi high, they can not solve, as many do, by removing the swirl, worth a strong decrease in performance at low revs and a strong increase in consumption.....
I do not think then that map to close them may be a better solution, why?, in that case, you'd have a significant loss of power at high engine speeds.....
What? the problem that you dannno the swirl? Oil is leaking or what?

I know how much the material, but I discarded the idea, just for that reason. More forward collaudero' a system that I built to restrict the air at low engine speeds and we'll see what happens...

Surely any intervention, to be effective must act just on the conduits, in this case, it's not just the electronics to achieve an optimal result....
To read the CDI unit, instead of how you fixed it? I am interested as before to spend money on the things I would like to have confirmation from someone who has already? resolved....

use other types of diagnosis. but sessuna makes me see the autocorrezioni on the injectors

The car soft ? the only one in that price range that, if it worked, you should be able....
Can I know what do you think is the pi? suitable for w203, (except for the star, of course, that it costs too much)?

To tell you the truth, I think they must be all in the same way those of normal use.... those who more or less. Of course, to see something more than you have to have the star...otherwise it's just a simple diagnosis superficial!!!

W203 C270CDI 2001. As a gi? mentioned in this discussion, I purchased a multiplex carsoft 7.4 which I read almost all the units except the engine ? the pi? important... If not I understand also hurt you ? happened to pi? or less the same thing with the Car Soft?

At the moment I use autocom and I have to say that it is definitely valid.... of course you can do all of that... including the injectors... but in compensation, it is also useful because ranges a lot.
For the collectors do not wait any longer .. edit and.. also because in mercedes you would ask for more than 1000 euros for the replacement... and then we add another 4 or 500 euro of ancillary things that are always to be replaced... and unfortunately with the means so that they are not worth very much and it's hard to spend so much money

Strange,,, you should read it with tranquility! I read and I write to you even with the galletto 1260 ( even if there is courage to do so )...
For the cdi, please keep in mind that if you don't want to do anything that you want to only read the errors the elm connects perfectly !!! I use it with the cel to see the values of the rail and the other sensors when I do the changes... For the rest, Good Luck :)

I feel stuck with my but up to this point... I Meant to say that prover? to read the DTA buying an autocom....
For the map I have to find someone more? expert me to explain in a few steps as I do for reading why? probably something wrong....
