I open a new discussion to avoid to continue to mess up the one related to the Golf GTI, even why? I would like to deepen some of the aspects of my mapping, and more? in general my car
first of all, let's talk about a Audi TTS S tronic with the following changes:
complete exhaust handcrafted by 70 mm with kat 200 celle
the BMC air filter OTE
double intercooler front Forge Twintercooler
mapping (not made by me)
after mapping mounted high pressure pump plus Autotech
with regard to the mapping, I believe that I have loaded a file, say, "standard", in the sense that it was already? ready (then go to know where it comes from), I ? have only been asked that changes were present
however, a few months ago, I mounted a multi-purpose tool obd, so keep an eye on the various engine parameters
? can also read torque and power, and from the test done a long time ago ? result of approximately 328 hp and 440 nm (values read from the obd, to pick up with forceps but are useful as a comparison)
in the other discussion I ? come to doubt the good quality of my map, in particular with regard to the turbo pressure
then the other day I started to do some tests and I found out that the peak exceeds 1.8 bar and the stable stood around 1,3 - 1,35
I also tried it the power, but this time using the function that draws the plot on the basis of the rpm (as if it were a drum roll)
the result ? was a chart that, in the range relative to the mid-range (just after the entry pressure) ? the result is very rugged, with high peaks of alternating peaks and low for about 1500 rpm (I think) and then follow a trend of the pi? classic towards the most? high
amazed by this result, I have begun to feel more? attentive to the behavior of the car, to see if the problem is in the operation of the engine or of the instrument, and straining the ear, I have heard of the fluctuations in the whistle of the turbine
in short, it seems that the compressor goes into surge
pu? be that this depends from the fact that the map is at the request of a peak pressure too high? unfortunately I am still in the very early weapons and not really able to evaluate what ? been done, so I turn to you for having an opinion

by comparing the two files I noticed that the initial part we do not gain anything (or at least for me ? cos?), are the changes made on purpose, or maybe the start file had a software version that is different?
I would also like to ask you for what reason the ecm doesn't want to open up the map with the driver? I know that probably do nothing, but for my curiosity? I wanted to give a look also to be able to understand a little bit
last thing, when I made this proof of the power the result ? was about 284 hp and 420 nm
there were 35 degrees and the intake air more than 40, to agree that the turbo suffers from much the temperature, but this decline seems excessive to me
what do you think?
