I don't know if it is suitable as a section (possibly the mod. will be able to move), to do a favor for a friend, I started to compare the two engines of the golf 6 2000
110 and 140 hp, I have seen that they both have practically the same mechanical components (cylinder block cylinder head cams turbo injectors pump hp ) the only difference ? the motor shaft on the 140cv ? with controalberi and the clutch/gearbox. For the rest the same. Well I say upgrade to the a version and another ? electronic, and I think by copying the right spots of the map of the 140 hp on the 110 I get virtually the same engine (we omit the speech of seal gearbox/clutch). I gave two readings of these engines and the comparison...well they are basically the same...small differences ****llo turbo and limiters...but negligible... a few pious soul, could you explain what eludes me...it is a 30 hp difference from where to jump out.... as soon as I can place the maps in question.

you should see if the motor shaft, and with controalberi if it has some sizes/masses/lever/weights are different, but I think this is only designed to optimize the dsg and avoid tearing clutches..... but I also think they are the same engines.... according to me there are small differences between the maps because that engine in this phase of the project and nato 140 horsepower or even more and easy with small improvements, "diffuse" if an intercooler from a smaller... or sleeves always intercooler longer and/or soft to have a drastic drop in performance, you should also compare these things...

Is the motor shaft ? different because of the against the trees and the clutch change that ? different from the 110 .. but the other components are the same...checked on etka ... do not agree on the issue of throttling mechanics. ..it would be crazy to reduce the power mechanically when the street map, you can do so without the slightest effort... but the maps in the motor areas are the same... but the difference of cv c'?. ..there will be something in the map that touched turns on these cvs... I don't know

If I'm not mistaken there is also the 170cv of that engine... it would not be just crazy if with a motor 3 types of powers....some of the components may change.... and natural, then, that the greater decrease of power takes place from the map..... one thing, however,' the map of the 140 hp has the dsg ?

I'll tell you more? on that engine...and the same of the gtd only changes the turbine borg Warner. ..but the rest is identical...however on the map in question I don't know if c'? the dsg. ..and anyway getting back to the core is the decrease of power should be from the map...yet in the map notes you do not see it... hopefully someone sheds some light on know what

well, I was not there I had still to do with this engine but I do not think that this difference of 30cv is only from the map, surely it will change something ****l turbo, injectors etc

I don't know these cars, but if you did a comparison and sn "equal" mechanically very likely that the limitation is on the electronics.
the maps can also be the same or very similar but you can't know if there are any of the individual limiters ( individual bits ), acting on maps, Turbo, fuel Injection, Torque, etc., ( and try to understand where are the differences ), or pi? easy still of the limiters out of the driver.
