I also have this problem, and perhaps the same hw version....and also knew that the problem happens on asus laptops and acer.....I c I wrote several edc16c39 edc16c34 the vag group is the serial bdm.... edc17 in the boot a couple...a ford and audi...for now I was wrong only a vag edc15 locking it in writing.....

as it says in the passion motors.....it would be better for a serial golds for work.....I not to risk me I do anyway a reading tour for safety....? the price to pay if you want to save.....
