I was not able to write to the file via OBD with MPPS (try versions v5, V12, and V16), says that the file ? "encrypted". Am I doing something wrong? Reading the forums it seems that MPPS will not be able to write to the ECU of this car (and also of the Lancia Musa with the same ECU), do you think Galletto 1260 pu? it?

I don't remember the protocols of the 1260 (you know, old age), but if there is, you can try.

then do not complete..

S?, I confirm that this Fiat Idea 100cv mounts a EDC16C9. In the comments of MPPS, by selecting this car, c’? written to “Data Area Read Only”, which makes me think that it is not possible to write it, at least with MPPS.
I used to read a file cut, but only when the start file ? of 2 Mb. You can? cut also below 1 Mb?

I have run the read the ECU with Galletto 1260, I compared the file with the one read with MPPS and I have found many differences in the initial part of the file (the one that is not identified as the zone maps from WinOLS).
Now I arise doubts about which is the file that is read correctly, and then which is rewritten, I would ask for your opinion.

I confirm the successful outcome of the operation!
With Gallo 1260 I have written in a few minutes without encountering problems. The EGR valve remains closed and so far there are no lights are on or fault codes. First impressions, we note a slight improvement in the reattivit? at low rpm, pi? high fluidity? in the area where she had previously worked for the EGR. We will upgrade? on fuel consumption.
