View The Full Version : Engine failure new bravo 1.6 120 hp
Hi all, I have a problem on the vehicle described above, in practice this person ? came to me to check what type of error it gave out the following P0487 and P490 related to the egr.
At this point I cleared the errors and loaded a map with egr off, in the diagnosis (MES) then it was the opening to 128% and the control is switched off.
We have tested the camera and it was all ok in regards to both the light and as a performance, but then after about ten miles the light and the error came back again.
The egr it closed with "Time", however, I attach the maps.
What would you recommend for me?
Thank you in advance.
gi? the fact that you by 128% to me is very strange...
as soon as I can you check the file
It is definitely a problem with the electrical part of the EGR. Write the so and if the problem is not solved, we have to remove the errors from the map.
Gi? tried, I also thought at first that they were the other things that Time has touched, but after a while returns to the spy with the errors described.
In that way you can eliminate the errors?
I remember reading in some post a guide about the DTC, but honestly there, I understand so much.
The first thing to do however, is to disassemble and clean the mechanical part of the EGR and if it doesn't I'll give you a hand to delete the dtc
Ok, thanks neo, recommend? the owner of get clean, then we'll see how it goes and then I'll update it.
certainly if the egr was stuck in the locked position a little open, or open to all, and likely to be born of the errors....
If the electrical part does not work you scored the dtc which turn on the light and eliminate them in the map. There are sw special.
Ok, as soon as you live, I know.
Thanks

Could you tell me the names of these sw and where to look for it?
if you opt to repair, and not for the circumvention of the problem, you need to sost. egr and adapt to the new central
The EGR valve is ? consists of a motor current and a position sensor. The sensor ? integrated on the same EGR valve and detects the real position of the valve disc, returning to the engine control unit an information in the voltage between 0.5 and 4.5 V. When replacing the EGR valve you need to perform a learning procedure with a special tool of diagnosis.
