reading ecu suzuki rgv 250 gamma

hi I would like to know if is it possible and how would you do that,I will explain should I read and change ecu advances and exhaust valve of a suzuki rgv 250 for a team that runs.
according to the coach for a guy in his time there he managed and modified,but unfortunately can not give us information........
