hello all,
Seat Ibiza 1.2 12V with cng system: the problem ? that cold the car wobbles and you can clearly hear 2-cylinder; once heated, the machine well and walks very well, sometimes for? back to the issue of the cylinders....goes to 2 cylinders.
The problem of the 2 cylinders it has ir? rarely gasoline , while often when you use the methane.
Coils changed, the throttle body is ok... the car ? came in to exchange ecu engine...
Advice?
however the ecu ? this: Siemens VDO 03, AND 906 023 D

hi , the spark plugs did you check ? often you consume with the cng system ... spark plug wires ?

everything ok...the candles come out clean when the control...spark plug wires ok...

the injectors? cold the car starts, natural gas, or gasoline? the injectors natural gas are subject to these defects

this car has made the rounds of several workshops...? came here to exchange the ecu the engine, before proceeding I would like to exclude all the other assumptions...
the injectors will surely have to change as the plant dates back to 2009...
but the car "blinking" even starting to gasoline...

check the timing chain and its chain tensioner.....
those engines suffer particularly from that point of view.
just put oil not suitable and gi? damage problems in this regard...
then however, on the first series of those engines, if I remember well there was a recall for the replacement of the chain...
if the chain ? ok..check the egr...

I don't think the problem of phase and even less to the egr but I think more of an' air inlet.
but I would like to know if this engine ? provided the vacuum sensor manifold

moved the injector that gave problems...the problem remains
on the same injector, the pins was a little enlarged, but also by squeezing the thing does not change
the minimum ? irregular (2 cylinders) while the car behaves well on the road...
the customer says he has heard of an update to the ecu the engine...? never can?

Make sure to check the timing of the distribution, may be saltao any of the teeth. happened to me, identical defect. tried a lot of components, but in the end it was the timing. When you solve the problem you also do a reset of the parameters autoadattativi as the cars that are powered both lpg and cng tend to go outside of the parameters and give problems with cold start

the engine ecu does his duty: detects errors when ex-sensors-coil-injection and reaches the voltage on the injectors.
the car has around 170 thousand Km never made chain distribution.
controller? the phase as before...the exhaust "grumbles" is not good

I have to say I do not know the type of engine, but I add exhaust valves too closed and that can burn...typical of the gas plant . The games the valves and compression must be verified...IMHO

The tips are all the righteous, but the diagnosis does not have dtc when you are presented with the fault. These often suffer from a distribution with elongation of the chain, but the ecu will be valid a couple of errors in the sync pattern.

Go to delete ...gasoline is ok methane when it is two off the injector or pippetta candles, and see who you abandoned

with the gas, maybe you are burned valves, 170.000 km, there are a few, and then maybe made, for the most part gas.

I would bet that it was a compression problem but I would have pulled it down, in flight the head for not making it go away :cool:
