View The Full Version : Problem cloning EDC7 Daf
Raga hello , I cloned an ecu EDC7 of a Daf cf , the original control unit of the vehicle has a problem at a bank of injectors 4/5/6 , after the reading of the original control unit with Galletto 2 BDM I have written a unit equal to the outlet in the demolition , after installation the vehicle must be in motion at the first start and runs fine , after a few minutes of operation, turn off the engine , the next day to restart the vehicle, but the engine will not start , do the diagnosis, but the electronic control unit EDC is not communicating , then I remove the ecu , thinking that there was a problem ****llo programming, but to my surprise it does not communicate more? also in BDM.
Do you have any idea can be successful ??

or that the control unit taken from the dem had that prob? or sometimes not started more on the vehicle?
Hello can you connect the diagnosis directly on the pin out of the comb of the ecu by leaving it connected to the vehicle to predict if you communicate to see if it was a problem from the comb to the cabin . To me ? happened many times that the plug diagnosis nn communicate an ecu is the engine that suspension or ABS and many times it happens that stops any cable in the system where you create the curve that runs when you pick up the cabin . And even pu? going to ground Me ? success on the stralis. That came in the bike, I raised the cabin x check something and when I riabbassato (about 1 minute ) do not ? pi? shared
I think that is a problem I have on my interface, or by opening the control unit ? damaged something, however, by fitting a new ecu and programming it as a from home mother the vehicle has more? had no problems.

I have not yet managed to read this ecu with bdm, I have 3 Iveco and in the workshop we have replaced, but I can power them on the bench', or c'? something wrong in my bdm....
Can you tell me which pin you used to practice and which port bdm did you use? the one above with the e xxx marelli, or the one below with the e xxx bosch?

I used the BDM del Galletto 2 , with e xxx Marelli , the unit in question has two doors BDM , and I used that on the side of the connections to the ecu.

My ? the ver 48 clone , in the top right window is not indicated the exact version of the hardware , but I remember a discussion on the forum describing how to go back to ver Hardware with the indication of the window in the upper right of the program.
