I'm going to start working on the ECU of the car.
I have to say that I have a slight familiarity with the diagnosis, remapping and are not fasting in the field of engines.
For the moment I've only available to a cable VAG KKL (16pin - USB), last SW "adapter 16 pin - 6pin" and "adapter 16 pin - attack fiat".
Also, I have only ECM2001.
- From what I've read on the forum you have to withdraw before a file with the extension ".ori" with a different software from ECM2001; for? I don't know which one to use.
I wanted to use a SW say suitable for a little bit for all the cars and not a single brand if possible. What do you recommend?
- I read that in order to withdraw the map use the ELM327 or the "Cock". Can I use my VAG KKL, or do I have to buy another interface?
- ECM2001 ? one of the many SW for remapping. He recommended other better, or can I use this?

To be able to read the various ecu you need to have an interface type mpps,the cock, etc... after reading you edit the file with ecm after you change the write again by using the interface that you are used to reading.
