Yep, I have a little big problem with this means, about a month ago ? changed l egr ( I have to say that the engine in question ? the 19 tdiesel of renault and the middle ? a 2002 year ) tornado to the problem ? arrived with lamp on-and-error p0400 cio? egr valve, valve changed and that is it.
Back after a month with light that had eccesa on the highway and always error on the egr.
The put but trying it ? also very slow in the beginning, up to about 2800 rpm in the turbo ? entered ? as firm as if it were the egr valve maybe a bit open, but not ?.
There ? for the case never happened something similar?
happened to me and on a scenic 1.9 as well was closed gave me problems not accelerating slow start turbine that is not pushing black smoke at will
the deleted and put a strip of sheet
he is still walking as I would recommend you to do according to me. :)

this is a non-smoker but' ? just a little slow in the beginning and it takes me this error.
where did you put the plate?

I don't know the mileage of the vehicle but on Iveco vans, it happens that you "incaccola" around the intake manifold and inside the various air passages become clogged, causing precisely the same failure! Now I do not know if ? the same for the vivaro but maybe if not ? difficult maybe with a video camera tries to throw an eye!

where did you put the plate?
where are you going to finish the tube from the exhaust manifold and goes under the egr valve
or loose the flancia and or put a small plate in the middle between the pipe and egr valve

you may find that the valve goes up when it goes into turbo that does not maintain the kiusura ..try tapparla and try!!!!!
where are you going to finish the tube from the exhaust manifold and goes under the egr valve
or loose the flancia and or put a small plate in the middle between the pipe and egr valve

I try to tapparla and see what comes out tomorrow. if I find where to put the plate, will update...

I did a test by putting a sheet on the pipe that goes to the valve, but with 3 holes by 5mm the middle of not ? changed nothing, the only thing ? now as the error always p0400 but instead of being excessive ? little and in fact does not erase it.
However, the means should not be just the way it should go, even so, can you please tell me when should measure the mass of air to the max?
I know that the minimum amount of heat must be from 35 to 47, and here we are, but at the max only comes to about 250, it seems a little bit on the 3500 rpm is so low

In fact, the blade must be closed I am a master with 300,000 km I have done so and it's still going without smoking...of course with light on why? the egr did not want to replace it

I did so , why? l egr ? new about a month and the original ? for me it is strange that it is a problem of the egr, that's all
I'll try to delete it all then.

have you tried to lock open the vanes of the variable geometry of the intake ?
