Hello guys, someone can? tell me if the body computer N 51781759 of the Fiat Grande Punto (199) 1.2 8v year 2006 is compatible with the one that fits the later model EVO. Change color, and also change the numbers. Or other categorical numbers are compatible as the original one do not find it used.

no you can't mount it on both hardware and software are different, you will not work a lot of things already on gpunto if the color does not ? the same you have problems

you've replaced the battery with a new one just to test and see if the defect does???

The problem is not ? the body is speaking to you from experience, you have to check the wires that come out of the ecu fuses in the engine compartment, there are combs that carry voltage to the ecu on the engine.
There are the wires broken internally (so you don't see them) where the wiring ? fixed with the fascettine black to the support of the spine.
If when you are not part if I remember well) to the pin 1 or 16 you will not have voltage 12v tap the plugs and you respawn 12v

Checks to see if the set up ? an 8V with the Marelli 5SF
- pin n?16 ECM connector on the vehicle side = +15
- pin n?1 ECM connector on the vehicle side = +30
- pin n?5-6-21-22 ECM connector on the MOTOR side = the masses

Red wire green that goes from pin 1 ecu wiring yellow to pin 28 of the comb short fuse box UNDER THE COVER that connects to the fuse box.

Now, however, I do additional checks in the control branch of the front as you have stated you RTS and then I'll know.

It could be just the pins of the comb of the fuse box! They do a lot of the point I am problem check the wires if I know intact as you said RTS if no if you have another box you'll replace it for test

For further safety, I am providing both the body and the junction box. Then even if you do not replace them ? always good to have it in for any eventuality..

Yes, but look at that body c'? there are a lot and all with different codes, and then with sunzionalit? different e.g. if your has the climate computer can't mount the body of the one who does not c'? and so, for various activations
Ditto for the fuse box for them narrows the variety, for? as it always happens when you need to mount a fuse box accidentally ? always different from the one that you have them in the drawer a long time....

What I did on your council on the phone;)

Even if the problem was elsewhere and not in the body... although all the symptoms meant was the trouble.

On the 1.2 I have mounted to a 1.3 mj... he Had the same number.

Hello friends I wanted to update on the outcome of the repair.
With regard to the body computer I found one of the 1.3 multijet with different numbering, but with the same pin. I reprogrammed the Eprom on the inside but the defect? it was not that. The defect was in the junction box outside, the fusibiliera the engine compartment near the battery. L' I replaced it and everything works great. For curiosity? I opened the car, it was all rusted on the inside, that's why? did the " Quirks ". Anyway, I thank all of you for your advice. You have been useful
