View The Full Version : the problem with electro-guide fiat stilo
hi guys, I entered a stilo 1.9 year 2003 with light steering on and steering hard, from the outset the customer to put the car in motion with the cables, and from them and the problem was,I make the diagnosis with autocom and *********** but it's not giving me no error I try with *********** to make a diagnosis on the body but nothing I do alignment proxi and says to me, body and framework tools to configure, I've tried to connect another electro guide but the same problem I checked the fuse all ok what do you think?

hello ,can? be a coincidence anyway the stylus to this defect in the series of the steering column, controls the power that goes to the ecu of the steering column, then the customer to put the cables backwards??

From diagnosis what gives you on the steering system?? If the light is turned on to force things should give you an error.

a thing to me ? happened to me, I found that the car did a few laps in the pi? to start because of the battery, replaced light disappeared and light steering. ? a test that you can do with the cables

Hello ,the problem could be attributed to a failure of the communication with the can-bus network
Have you tried to see in the diagnosis steering if the parameters coming from the can line is correct,e.g. the Speed of the vehicle, etc.
Try to disconnect battery for at least 10min. Then put a good battery and try again.
I have already checked power and ground everything in place for the cables I don't know
no error

often ilmodulo steering you care!!!
and no errors I tried another electro guide connecting the steering wheel and does not work the same
I agree with leandro89 to the fact ch? I ? happened to you too? m? battery problem would result in recovery of the control unit of the steering column, replacing the battery and everything went fine, then I ? happened another stylus with the same problem and it was the alternator!!!!!
I connected it to another machine with the cables and not do anything, the alternator charging

check if it comes to a constant power source to the controller, the steering... at the end of the l? ? the whole system, and then tap turn close to figure out.

the problem is in the steering column, these are all defective,if you have a supplier that review made to give a revised steering column and test,on a vehicle or replaced three of the last good....you have to look at the numbers for the steering column must be the same!!

I did the same joke on the point of 2005, the new Fiat has changed 2 motors in the steering but the problem I have solved by putting a ground strap from battery to chassis and from chassis to gearbox. Its original is isolated. I checked with the tester and the mass was there, but when the engine was in the bike with the lights on after two or three turns, the steering's? would harden. Try maybe with the pliers before from battery to frame and then battery to engine. For the rest I don't know, never worked on a stylus. I can only give you my experience.

then you need to arm yourself with patience and check all the wiring!!!but yeah, the stain has no light on in the context of anomaly!!!
make sure that you check the fuses on the battery.staccala also for 2-3 minutes and reconnect and see if it goes
already done the first test
already done the first test
misa misa that ? dead then
guys really can't believe we tried with another diagnosis (no fault code)I try to cancellation errors everything in place

As already said before try changing the battery controls when charging the coach should caricace about 13.5 volts, if everything's ok, do another test checks the fuse box on the side of the battery maybe if you have the chance? try it with another that is equal, check carefully after that check if and powered
when I saw the steering wheel to work, I did not think I
same thing I happened on the stylus was the fuse holder that I created the dell oxide,I soldered the wires and put a fuse holder outside of the box, and had no more this type of problem.
