Hi to all I ? 've read a lancia musa 1.3 mjtd with a rooster v2 V53 and practically by selecting the driver for the 70 hp but for the multijet 75/90/101 cv I've done the reading file given that the owner had told me it was 75 hp, and not 70 hp, I gave them the confirmation, and after 43 minutes, gave me a file of 3 mb and I stunned with the doubt, I decided to ask if someone of you ? never happened why? that I know of usually a maximum of this protocol engines always gave me a file that is 2.5 mb and not 3mb. But pu? be? I completely trying to read with the driver for the 70 hp tells me that I have to use to force the 75 hp or the one in which I read the file from 3mb. Here you are now you place the photo data to the ecu and read file.

from the numbers, reports to, and is a 70cv, I'd recommend you to get in bdm and not think about it more.

Regardless of the clones, I also use the bdm on these ecu, the risk is considerably lower.

if it tells you to use it because you want to remove, why do you want to create problems even when there are, the flaw in the bdm.

it is a discussion that's already been done at other times, and honestly makes me a little angry, because it means that you work without seeing what you do, when you select the drive you, says the program, if you look at the image you posted ec written use-it , when it does not take ec, the image of the adapter with a cross over, but always start from the idea that in the obd wants us to be, then in the folder fgtech there are a lot of documents to read before starting to use the interface, why cry after you have made the omelette is good for nothing, after you shell out the pennies to remedy a control unit, or a new programmer because you cooked.

Ok thanks ugoboss of the info I've I've used it with the adapter just because? I figured to use it and anyway now riprover? read it with the protocol of the 70 hp and not 75

Guys problem solved at the end the problem was not the rooster but bens? the owner initially told me that the car had 75 hp and read the whole gave me a file size that is strange precisely 3 mb that and then bringing it to 448 I also compared it with the file ori I realized that it was a mod file, and then today I tried again to read the map with a profile of 70 hp and muse, and I pulled out a file in the tables to be 64 kb and the whole is always 64 kb (Instead of? 448kb) so there was something abnormal, and then I decided to disassemble the unit to see what mount, and wual? I discovered that the car had replaced the ecu by putting always one of the multijet 70 hp but the fiat idea that despite being identical, change the protocols, exact for reading and writing complete and entering the driver of the fiat idea has me bed in both tables (64 kb) and the full (448 kb) the file perfectly so I edited the file golds that I had procured, and that's it written as a whole without any problem. I hope this discussion is helpful perhaps to someone else who may suffer the same situation.
