if you do not have the ****llo low-and-cerina-you don't need to change the ecu you speak of, however, if I remember correctly it is under one of the front seats

I fill up with diesel if the ****llo, and bass and not have problems

I've always done without removing any ecu, disabling the ecu the engine of the fap and putting the diesel in place of cerina if it was empty the tank.
