View The Full Version : Even before maps
Hello:
Starting truly from Scratch, for me to talk about maps ? premature.
Therefore, I would like to get familiar with the OBD II to run at least a diagnosis, using
a specific interface.
The victim to submit to treatment ? a Touran TD 2004 1900
Give me some advice on the interface? (version, type, etc). In the network there are also Blutout.
thank you ,Cosimo
P.S
If the argument ? deemed ...too basic and not suited to the ****llo of this forum, I would like to be warned

You can take a ELM327 for making the diagnosis in almost all cars, but only the part concerning the engine.
In your case for? I suggest you buy an interface Vag that can make the diagnosis the most complete of all the units present
in the car belonging to the VAG group (Volkswagen, Audi...)

With the interface VAG in addition to the diagnosis, you can also enable some functionality? in ir?, that serial for example, you have not (type 4 arrows when you make a sudden braking, etc).
there are several devices "universal" with prices between 80 and 200 euros, which are good for the diagnosis and the parameter reading on many units.
also consider that if you want to study the field of mapping, perhaps, you will not stop your touran and a tool cos?, when you've got it, use it for a long time (years) and on different cars

I confirm, the block only in writing, but apparently the inconvenience pu? happen even with professional products.
Only that they want to solve.
