Hello in the workshop we had a problem with this car, a vw passat 200 tdi 170cv with control unit siemens , as you can see in the photo attached ? burned out the power module inside. Now in the dealership you know very well what to ask of a new ecu, the ecu goes into diagnosis quietly but not part of, I found a the breakdown, now I ask since I've never done it, just read and write in bdm the entire backup from one to the other in addition to the exchange of the two chips of the code? or should I do another ?
Qulacuno has experiences on this kind of work ?

Not me ever having to do it on a Siemens PPD,
but usually I read the content with BDM and rewrite everything in the new one without sfar.
then it costs you absolutely nothing to try..

It was a bath in the tub of fish........if you find the ecu of the same HW to move all BK the car part without problem....

you very probably just copy the entire backup appatto that the number hw is equal to

I found one on the German bay, now let's see in the meantime, I leggererla inbdm. thanks a lot

there should be no problem...it should work like on the eecu bosh..read the backup of the one that is not working and re-enter the last quest on the ecu... just the number, hw is the same...;)
