I have to make a scodifica total of the unit in question and I would like to ask your authoritative opinion.
I have read the eeprom B58253 indicated in the picture by setting the programmer 24c02c and 5 volts, in the absence of the 24c02.
It seems that the first part of the operation is successful.

PROBLEM:
with the controller set to 3.3v I couldn't read.
Setting 5v and detach the eeprom, I made it but I can not write.
Today I try with another programmer... I do not think that is the eeprom that waste to be "rewrite".
I have seen that ? gi? success, but do not know how they solved...
Any suggestions?

I have replaced the eeprom according to the council of obd75 and I was able to write the modified file to Legend, Hope for the best...
In the meantime I would have to ask two questions:
1. With this file, it will remain lit lights?
2. I had heard around that the immo of golf ? in the instrument panel; this model is the exception?

I have this ecu, but I can tell you that not all scodificano in the same way.
The one we talked to scodifica desolder the eeprom, reading the contents with an appropriate reader type willem, etc., by editing the file as did the mythical legendary, rewriting the file, and risaldando the eeprom.

No need for the Commander that you make immo off from the obd,read pin code, odometer correction, all beautiful things, very useful tool and fast,but the thing is only on the vw
