View The Full Version : how to retrieve the codes from the transponder?
hello guys I wanted to ask if you know of a tool that is capable of reading the contents of the keys starting with the transponder, in the specific case I am talking about scania, let me explain, every time it happens in the workshop to try a ecu on any vehicle for any defect strange, and if the owner has lost the pin codes you can do given that the engine control units are locked together, to the coordinator, or better you can unlock them with a particular procedure, but then you have to change the starter unit with the cylinders of the doors as a set of the new block will give you the new keys, clearly as a test, we try to avoid unnecessary costs, thanks to all those who want to say something

hello, that I know of for the transponder, you can use TMPRO or zed bull I SBB there are still others on the market!!
hello motorsport thanks to the intervention, you have already? used tmpro or zed bull? do you know if I can read the pin code? the cio? just see it with my own eyes, why? I do not want to clone the key, but have access to the pin to unlock the ecu , in the meantime I have the document on the ones that you mentioned

Unfortunately, NO I'm sorry,on the truck are not good at!!:)
sorry if I ask you again but I meant if they were used on some car, or if you know any means to recover the codes maybe reading the ecu without opening it

on the car you always speak to read immo keys, but to read the immo in the ecu need to be read with other programmers type upa willem xprog you have to read e2p soic, without opening it I think I no you have to open, there is some tool for e2p without having to open and for the marelli!!

however, to unlock you have to intervene on the ecu go with immo off....zed bull serves to clone, copy keys, and a transponder in a key new!!
often, the SN of the code are locked up in the bsi, body, uch, module immobilizer so not all the same, and finally a dev to be aware of each chip where ? located to the n queues
thanks guys, I think I understood that from serial port you can? do very little to know the pin codes, and then to be able to do my tests do I have to have the ecu test that first, I have to eliminarlgli the immo and for the strength I need to open to be able to read the chip where ? stored, a p? too cumbersome, thanks anyway to all
