Hi guys I wanted to ask you if it has any ? happened, today I read a bmw 320d year 2005 Bdm is mounted with the ecu edc15c35.. by changing the map with ecm, saving it, and rewriting it in the bdm, the car part.. reloading the original file of the car is great.. at the beginning thinking it was the problem in the phase of scrittuta I have rewritten the file but nothing... what am I ? seemed a bit strange... as the ecm, I found only a single driver.. while if I search manually I find more? one.. with the same hw and sw... according to me it is some problem of checksum calculated.. bad.. I have uploaded the file winols for the calculation of the checksum I saved.. and I noticed that the checksum has been calculated differently..tomorrow I try to write the processed file with winols to verify

do not load the file with the driver, edit it without the driver and the checksum may be a problem in the ecm

it seems strange to me that the bdm the calculations wrong, I have made several of these, and I never been a problem, have you checked your mod file.

Guys found the problem, the ecm calculates the checksum in the wrong way, in fact I noticed that calculates both in the first part of the file at the address 0000E2 viewable to 8bit, and in the end a 16-bit motorola, the part that's wrong, and the first where it touches something that must not touch it.. in fact the ecu is not me that is found to not even making the diagnosis, and as if become dysfunctional.. I noticed that the modified file by importing it in the BDM and doing the checksum correction tells me "checksum ok" but with astonishment that by importing the same mod files without a checksum correction BDM only corrects the final part to 16bit in the same identical way that makes the ECM, leaving intact and original the initial viewable to 8bit..
not convinced I've uploaded the modified file without correction of the checksum on Winols and I noticed that it also does the same correction of the BDM, the problem was upstream in the file you created with the ecm where it was changed to a string to 8-bit..

Here is the mod file

Here is the file ok
