View The Full Version : GuzziDiag - Writer and Reader ecu Marelli
After the closure of Ducatidiag I started to look for some other free tool with which I like scorching the ecu... it seems to be cos? GuzziDiag, obviously born from a rib of Ducatidiag, where in the download page, I also noticed that there were small executable that let you read and write the ecu of the group Marelli 1.5 M - 5AM and 5.9 M.
Of all, I have tried the executable files for the ecu 5.9 and 5AM on a 5AM which I use as a guinea pig. Then: the two tools are very simple and do not allow the particular variations in writing. Both the reader and the writer work with the file format .bin, 320 kb in the case of 5AM. In writing you can vary the data code tester, data write, etc. by Reading the file written with another tool I have seen that these parameters are changed automatically, but for an enthusiast who is willing to have fun, what ? a little relevant.
Clearly the file you v? writing must have already? the check-sum to the correct control, immobilizer and dashboard appropriately adjusted in order to operate the unit according to your needs. The control unit must not be blocked, otherwise it is f? nothing. The only control that the f? the tool ? the verification of the size of the file and the file types, which, I repeat, must be in the format .bin.
I tried the tool with a file on a Streetfighter, saw that a friend who had come to see me: it works :) !! Loaded a map DP, tested the bike: everything OK.
The ecu ? been read and written to the serial line, using a cable KKL and the adapter OBD=>3 PIN FIAT with power cables for the cable KKL, directly on the bike.
Definitely the tool ? very bitter, and in the first try, you must do some basic tests, in particular, to the SW that you intend to write in the ecu, but considering that ? free and after a couple of tests gave positive results, I would say that they are on the good road. To say, to go sure I had cloned the original control unit of the Streetfighter so evil that was come back to that in a moment.

I finally got a p? time ****** to try these tools, also for power units of 1.5 M: tried on a SS900ie. Works well, always maintaining the limits which I had exposed in the previous message.
Also in this case, I have worked in the serial directly on the bike with a classic cable KKL.

I tried the "reader/writer" of the guzzi on a 15p (such as that of the ss 90, for instance) mounted on a Nexus 500
but nothing!!! to me it has not worked, and as usual, I had to unsolder the 29f010 and fit a socket.
I forgot:
the French ? returned to the charge with a new software
Ducatidiag version, 27, who now works also on the FIAT!!!!!!

Exactly!!
Returning in topic, coma, 1.5 P are not equal to 1.5 M. Gi? the management of the lambda probe makes them different, so what ? also true that you cannot upload a SW for a 1.5 M on a 1.5 P worth the crashing the system... success, less bad on a ECU from the studio, and then recovered with the work of desoldering/soldering of the 29f010.

Hello
I have a Griso and, until now, to reset the tps I used to use the ScanST of Giupponi (bought it first came out these cute, software...).
My question is ?, to understand something more because I am a super beginner...
the file that I get with the reader of the Guzzidiag not ? compatible with titanium true?
in the expectation of finding the necessary equipment, I'd start to do some testing on my bike...
Thanks :-)
The file read ? from 320kb, so you'll need to cut it in 304kb, as described in the forum, and then will be? compatible with Titanium. Look at how this touches the advances on guzzone!!

Tranquility, I want my Grisone... :-)
I was referring to the evidence of "reading" in a couple of days should get the cable for the Guzzidiag and for now I limit myself to that one!!
Before touching alcunch? I\I have to understand more
thanks M999
Look, I've done some, a pair of rather "bad" and gi? only carrying out the map fuel with a couple of tweaks and peeling of the advance (ti dir?, without eliminating the lambda!!) you will get satisfactory results. I repeat, for? with the advance on the Guzzi you have to be really careful ;)
Hello
Marco
Hello M999
then I ? got the cable, I downloaded the guzzi diag (cool) and I used the reader for copiarmi the file.
As you said, I found the size of 320kb that I have reduced to attempts and I don't know how to... (I open another discussion) 304kb and I opened it with titanium!
which tells me that there is a driver that is more up-to-date in the database and asks me if I want to download it... yeah right... I said no... and I opened the map!
to me what you are interested in for now ? grease a little carburation and why? having sprintfilter and lavizzari open, each time you change the spark plugs I drops the tear as far as I am pale...
For down payments do not deny that I have several times thought to eradicate all the electronic compartment and put a beautiful distributor cap :D
for the speech lambda, of course, in the round there are n-1 conflicting voices... but the idea that I have done I ? that eliminate the lambda makes sense only in the case of installation of additional electronic devices, and not so much in the seat of remapping.
I'd like to know what you think!
Hello and Thanks

Lucabel, To make life easy we supply xdf files for tunerpro, so you can edit direct your Guzzi ecu. Tunerpro is free software. Look on the Guzzidiag download page http://www.von-der-salierburg.de/download/GuzziDiag/ We also made some Morini and Ducati XDF
M999, do you know what size 15m files have to be to be able to open in Titanium? The 64Kb does not work.

hello,it would be appreciated her presentation, and if you use a translator, it would be better thanks.

I think the 15M files are 128Kb.
The 1.6 M file ? 64Kb.
Hello all,
if I could you indicate where I could find a map Ducati Performance Ducati monster 900 i.e. (904 displacement, not the 916, which was mounted on the S4) I would like to compare it to my ori and try to understand what ? been changed.
Or if someone of you ? in possession, if it can? share it.
For every good end I have a series of maps, Ducati, Guzzi, Gilera and Moto Morini, if they serve are at your disposal.

you can see in the database, but you have to wait for the permissions to be able to download the maps, it's in the database you can post your file if there were no gi?, by specifying the brand, model, type of ecu, engine, hp, hw, sw, reading tool
Just to meet a minimum my curiosity?, you could for case to see if c'? any map for my bike in the bank...in the meantime, I look forward willingly to be enabled, too.
I also could you indicate if I need a specific interface to read and write or is the simple OBD II?

on the home page of the forum you will find the page of the database, look for the brand name and see if someone has shared something
unfortunately, nothing, no map, DP, and even the ori...I found a single map golds for the control unit 1.5M, I mount a 59M...****!
But if you could find a unit DP of another monster, I could mount it directly to the place of my, or should I configure something?
Hi sorry but are you sure that you can write well 5AM
