Good day,
I ? had a doubt but when cutting, for example, that of the MJT to write it in serial ,you have to cut it before or after that ? made the change?
I usually cut it before ,for curiosity? if you cut after pu? something happen?Why? I fear I don't feel why? I only have a MPPS then in the case where the ecu blocks I don't know what to do...

The file you cut to bring it to the correct size to be used with certain to be able to rewrite. For example: read a file from 500Kb why? in the file read I also take a dump of the e2prom, I prepare it but to rewrite it, I need a file from 300Kb as the flash eprom does not need the part file of the e2prom. It is only an example to make you understand what might be the usefulness? to cut a file, it has nothing to do with the specific request made in the previous post!
The "cut" of the file is then done on a certain portion of the same using either a normal analyzer hexadecimal or dedicated SW that have this function ECM type.
