Cut the file ducati 5AM from 320k to 304k for reading the ECM......

who tells me how, and with what shall I cut the file ducati to upload them to the ECM????

You can? operate with a simple player hex freeware type HxD. You have to cut the first 4000 addresses.

Then: take the files to 320Kb and save a copy. So open the file and select from the address 00003FF0 to climb. Cut this part and save it to a new document. The file that you have "crippled" save it cos? how ? and you'll have your nice files from 304kb with which to work with the map editor that can work with these formats.

Alternatively, you can also use the dedicated function of the ECM... but if you ask us how to do just that tool I s? that you don't have the manual and/or the official version...

however, I have not had a case if I have the tool of which you speak...... even why? ? the first time I come across these files.

..... but then after the change I'm going to rewrite the file from 304kb or always with that tool or sw that I have indicated, the ec reverse procedure to re-obtain the file from 320kb and to be able to rewrite?????

Depends on what you want to rewrite. Some HW use file 304, other 320. If you read files from the 320 you have to rewrite 320, cos? as with a file from 304.

However, once you change the file from 304kb, just reincollare the part that you cut in order to regain the original file to 320kb. Clearly, after each change must be reviewed in the checksum thing that you must do with SW, dedicated, or are the same HW that they do in the auto at the time of writing.

HxD not ? a tool particular ? simply a hex editor freeware very flexible, which is located just a quick google.

I downloaded HxD, very nice!!
anyway, merely by way of information, using the tool of the ECM is to be set up 004000.
If you set 003FF0 out a file from 305kb and that's not good
