I bought a mpps V5, of course, clone, with an accompanying software 5.01. From the info it seems to me that the cars are not many, but there is a system to use a software + up to date?? Or maybe ? can access to other ecu maybe in a generic way by setting the parameters manually??
Maybe are questions trivial and obvious, for? somewhere I've got to start...:)

then presently after the v5, there is only the v12 and is a little more but not a car park is different, and anyway I don't know, but I experience with the online customers prefer the v5 to v12,such as types of car makes edc15-edc16-edc16bmw and edc17 vag but, you can't write only read but why not have the ck in writing,so it is all the car park citroen-ford and peugeot siemens bosch makes them, you can use it only with his sw v5 because to upgrade to v12 you must change the chip inside, and then also the sw and divenya v12,if you have any other questions please ask.

You were very limited... I am a beginner and trying to find out the best before you screw it up.
But for the park siemens you can? do something with the galletto 1260?? From the info in the kit say it is possible, after the bridge on the ecu, but ? reliable as a procedure or it is better to always have the bdm??

for the galletto 1260 I don't know, for the mpps I have the version 12 ? I am fine, never had any problems, but from what I read around the version 5 ? a little more? reliable, but, again with the 12 ? always all worked out, for the update, I confirm what he said msport, you must replace the chip inside.

We say that the update does not interest me at the moment, the better to understand first how it works, and then maybe invest the money differently in anything + useful, such as a bdm.

for the bdm I got it recently and I have already read some of the ecu and I have to say that it goes really well. Saturday make? the reading of a ecd16u. Another serial that I would like to try ? the mag2 that is pi? ecu than the mpps. However they are always available for advice on mpps, anyway ? very simple, you'll be fine, calm ;)

if you want to buy a magpro ori I would say that it's a good product and the price but if you talk of the clone, so much better than a galletto v2 that is edc15-edc16-edc17-tricore,bdm-cars,motorcycles and trucks as well as all the siemens of course.

in fact, msport, you're absolutely right, he speaks very well of the galletto v2, I'm waiting for the sale in the shop of the forum, as soon as available I'll take it for sure, thanks.

I took the mpps and for the little that I have tried I have to say that it's okay.
For? I need? to use it on a 64-bit system, is there any method to let it digest, or to the force of things do I need to install a dualboot??

the system is 64bit, however, supports the education 32bit, so you can still install the software

I don't think! if I remember correctly on the 64 drivers are different I am attaching the drivers that you put it in auto, but I have to have the 64-bit,please try these and let me know.

In fact, I do not load the drivers and software when it comes from a myriad of errors... both on seven 32 and 64. The driver that you've put unfortunately I can not download them, having not yet reached the 50 post, but I have the version 5, but I think for the 12 should be the same.

I repeat, I MPPS V5 never had a problem on VAG EDC16.
Always remaining in the VAG group, also on MED9.1 (2.0 TFSI) zero problems. Read and write in 16 min.

I have customers on-line that they have read and written several times 320d e90 163cv,but it is recommended to put a battery in parallel.

I saw that the 320d e90 163cv has a EDC16 C35, while the 330d e92 231cv has a EDC16 CP35. Is it the same thing?

Not ? the same copsa, but theoretically belong to the same family, and then it should work... I think you first try if the law and then almost certainly the also writes.
this ecu is able to read and also to write them, important ? the power some use batteries in parallel, but according to me, a alimentarore and always better especially if ? stabilized.

So if I connect it and then I will write, I see the voltages a little higher than 12V. We would like something that brings me immediately on 13,8V.
One thing: but only with the reading of the file you risk anything? Or ? unable to do damage?

just by reading you should not do damage... at least we do not combine you something with the soft and start writing.

I read a 147 mjet 150 hp with protocol mpps edc16c8 even if in reality? ? edc16c39. File read correctly by 2 mega.
For writing I can use the same protocol?
you can't use it, but before you have to make the id.

I have a mpps v5 and I read and wrote BMW edc16c35 no no problem, but the council too, the battery charger why? to experience the BMW block easily if the voltage drops below 12v.

the file if it is edc16 c8 should be 1m then something is wrong, post the file that you've read.

The file ? edc16c39 only, I'd go to bed with the protocol edc16c8 of the mpps as it did not give me the c39..***** s, the place in the evening!
the protocol ? the same... pertato the reading that you did ? correct... and you may have spent 45 minutes
the writing, too, it should go to a good end...
I advise you to? to use the protocol of the 159 edc16c9

why? should I take it to a friend who has already? spent quite a lot for a kess slave and would like to start with a mpps to have them (has already? a galleto this guy), but the need for mpps to get a file from 2mb to read a micra that instead of the law, a 40 kb...
