View The Full Version : traction control
hello guys! I'm trying to turn off the traction control(by cutting the flow of fuel) in a 147 mjet(edc16), but to leave the traction control that is performed by actuating the automatic brake...
I found some address interesting in the damos... you have made some test about it?

Hi...honestly I don't find useful the thing...in the end, the asr can be off by a special key, while the esp is not ? can be turned off...anyway, if you want to also disable the asr do not press the tastino..su I knew edc15 farlo....su edc16..I never tried...what do you want?
I wanted to make the q2 electronic... esp the take off, sending a failure in the vdc... or take it off the power to the yaw sensor under the dash(I've put a switch)

indeed, the asr the disattii when you want to...

then you can turn off everything right now...I don't understand where you want to act...you have created the button for the esp and then you have the x-l asr...you have not turned off so
the asr I don't want to take it off completely... I just want that only acts on the brakes and not on the engine by removing power

understood.....
maybe I have found the bit to enable/disable the asr and msr, but I know that you completely disable...

I think of you...I wonder recognizable partially agira in part on the brakes, and so parlziale on the power of the engine if always you can disable part
I found the following bit:
the configuration of the traction control (0: ASR off & MSR off; 1: ASR on & MSR off; 2: ASR off & MSR on; 3: ASR on & MSR on)
and
priority between the driving-dynamics control and gearbox intervention (1: no limitation of gearbox intervention, 0: limitation)
and
configuration of DCS torque excess integrator (on/off)
are all 3 in the same area, under the same sub group named CoVM...
I don't know what they mean and the second two... does anyone know?

Perhaps it means to control speed? engine?throw l? eh...xk? honestly, I do not think it is feasible...that ? a calibration of the esp, not the ecu, engine...
The asr is managed by the engine ecu and the abs, if the engine did not remove the power would be applied.
It's all about how to do this

Hello..so according to what you write...you could take the first bit set to 0, the asr off and msr off...cos? the asr should act only on the brakes, and not by cutting power to the engine...
the other two bits that indicate I honestly do not know what I could change.and..
you ? what I did, for? I put the value to 2 why? I don't want to disable the msr. Seems to work, but I have to test it better. The light turns on again but the power is not limited, the problem ? that if I accelerate too I go on a tangent :-)... I have to see if the brakes act and believe me not ? easy

If you have the damos seek the word asr and find the address... If you can't tonight, I put the put..
However, I tried the car in the wet , and then I find it hard to draw conclusions... Should I try it with 2 wheels on tarmac, and 2 on the ice to see if it works.... But in this period....:-)

I was never reminded of the speech of the q2 electronic but it would be interesting :)
Has electronic? Or has the torsen? If as you say, ? very interesting

the my2008 has electronic,my2007 don't have one
I have not found a file my2008 but I have compared it with a file of a 159 2.0 and seem the same areas of the asr...the comparison ? a little complicated because they are not really the same addresses....
the bit that I have changed is to 1C7D69...
