View The Full Version : Valve Swirl
Hi, I have a problem with a Golf 2.0 Tdi 16V, 2005, 140 cv, should mount a control unit EDC 16U1.
In practice, the light comes on the engine and gives me an error inherent to the EGR valve. This morning I removed the valve and there was a component jumped, but in the swirl valve. Now I would like to know if anyone has ever removed the valve from the engine control unit.
Thanks.

I believe that you can do safely, you should start at least to post the file
Mmm, I wanted to know first if anyone has done it and if it works quietly without giving damage.

Waiting for your solve the problem, a question afflicts me: But what? this valve Swirl? Could I read that ? a flow reduction valve and for what I understand is that it induces a "bottleneck" in the opening of the air at low revs. I understood it well? But that pro you can have in these conditions?
Explode82, the valve I've recovered, in the sense that it was missing a component within it, like a mosfet, I soldered and now the error is ? removed it and the machine goes well, then I have not read any file.... however I have seen in the section "files ori" of the forum, that there are several files of the 140cv with control unit edc 16u1, if you can (if you want) could you give me on one of those files, the example... what do you say? Thanks.
