I'm trying to clone the hdd to an ibm T30 containing das mercedes , I'm using HDClone 4.2 but nothing does not start
tips are welcome

hello mecdoc trial acronis that has universal restore (I think you call it so?) that promises to restore an image copied from a pc, on a pc with different hardware, at least the version 10 had, now precisely I do not know what version they are but I don't think cha is back

Test with EASEUS Partition Master 6.5.2 Home Edition, perhaps, is the case for you..

Not specific to clone but I assure you that is copy partition..
so it should do for you..
I do not ever used for your work you should try it, but be careful not simple and easy to use..
then depending on the size of the hdd you need a hdd that is the your vote!
not to make partitions on a hdd that contains data that would be lost if I remember correctly...

You need to do the identical copy of all the sectors without discarding any unused sector.
Check the bootloader is ok.
Then just change the serial for each partition and to limit the generation of new codes when you start Xentry-Das-Wis-Epc

In my opinion, you should do a clean install and redo everything ? a p? cumbersome for? runs much better.

I have an old version and I have not had updates from a p? and then I don't have a guide x the latest version I can find,
I kept the version 2011.01 x, which say that ? the pi? stable and best for beginners ( like me ;) ),
