I would like to ask a question, even if probably for many the answer ? granted...
What? the difference between the Ktag and the Jtag? :confused:

I don't know to interpret the lack of answers why? too obvious demand, or the opposite...
The ktag should be a tool to trade on the ecu, the jtag instead of a protocol or system programming for microprocessors, I think that is so? otherwise, someone correct me.

Cuasi all the ecu (denso, hitachi, etc) car japanese 2004-2005 forward using Jtag with micro Renesas.
But now many car made in europe, using Jtag micro Nexus.

in both cases, works in boot mede and with the ecu removed to the bench only with the first option you colleagues on the comb of the control unit, in the second option you connect directly to the pcb style edc16 bdm always in bootmode

you can restore only the part of the flasks + e2p always contained in the micro-a complete reading of the micro ? possible with any tool nemmno ori
only thing then do it and do a reading in the boot that would be the most complete in the case of the block edc17 always do anyway and id unless the files in any way the part is not readable, processor, then there is nothing more you can save

hello I have had a problem with a golf 6 edc16c46 at the end, did not give me even id in the boot,after a week of shaking, I managed to restore it to always boot..I assure you that communicates always ..even if id is not a number, and communicates at least with x17 and so

same my experience you can always make the id as the part of the boot record to say no ? affected by reading and writing with the tools that are currently available

someone has taken the ktag from the chinese sites that now the damage on the 200 dollars? how does it behave? ? reliable?

The clones are always an unknown quantity, so you get the clone of the ori so you can get the clone of the clone...
