Disable passenger AirBag Mini

Hi I was wondering if it was possible to disable the passenger airbag for a mini dl 2007, the owner has the need? to put the baby seat and the car did not have a chance? off.
I still don't have the machine in hand, I must bring, anyway, I thought to see if it was possible for a programming with a few sw diagnosis that I have, or to read the eeprom of the airbag control unit and turn it off of them.
Anyone has experience on this?
