View The Full Version : The absolute position of the throttle of the gas...
Hi, making a diagnosis with Scanmaster ELM on my C320 CDI (W204) I noticed that the absolute position of the throttle valve reaches the maximum value at 88,64%...
Is this normal? C'? a butterfly that restricts the passage of air?
If ? in accordance with this ? limited by the original map, and then with a mapping you can? do open the throttle to 100%?
the one that is not ? the butterfly gas..intended as an accelerator...the diesel is not n? need because the adjustment of the revolutions is always and only through the diesel fuel injected, the valve starts to function when the engine is switched off..a moment before this ends to turn the valve closes "choking" the motor in order to avoid the shaking typical of diesel at this juncture, I would like to add chequesta the throttle valve and is normally always open to the max and very probably the percentage and refers to the closing of the valve, the soft off...
For? I don't understand that at minimum I 31,4%... so I never a value of 100%
