View The Full Version : 29f010b are compatible with 27C020 645F?
Hi,c'? someone who can tell me if the eprom in question are compatible?
hello
depends on what you need to do
27c020 are 256kb
29f010 are from 128kb
so if you have to use the 27c020 instead of the 29f010 you are compatible, but you have to duplicate the file of the 29f010
if you need to use the 29f010 instead of 27c020 you can't do it.

Thanks for the clarification. But what do you mean practically for "duplicate"?
The 27c020 ? a memory erasable and rewritable electrically? How many rounds can you do? The strange thing that I have seen on a golf already? mapped with the eprm 29f010 and looking at the comparative tables, instead, would need a 27c020!
Do you have any table that makes you understand the comparison between the various eprom and etc?
I forgot...if the 27c020 not ? rewritable, what? his consideration?

29f020,just look for the datasheet, the golf with pcll it seems to me to assemble 27c010
29f020,just look for the datasheet, the golf with pcll it seems to me to assemble 27c010
Thanks, so in summary:
In the table that I have seen I should be a 27c020 and non-010...
I'm sorry, and ones that are compatible with 27c020 645SF / Golf?
To summarize:
the 27c010 can be replaced with 27f010 / 27F020 with 28F010 / 28f020 or with 29F010 - 29f020, Right?
the 27c020 can be replaced with 27f020 - 28f020 - 29f020 and just?
The table of the datashet in eng where can I find it?
Happy new Year to all!
on the website http://www.datasheetcatalog.net/it/ how do you see also the correspondence with the flash eprom (eprom erasable and electrically reprogrammable)?

The 29f010 ? a flash memory (rewritable), while the 27c020 it wants us to be the appropriate tool in addition, the 29f010 in general ? SMD while the 27c020 ? DIP they are two different types are not compatible.

I know that then I get it wrong (pg.28 of the guide found on the web which I am attaching) why? it seems to me that it is different...you could give me explanations?
If I'm not mistaken the 27c020 you clear with uv and rewritten with the programmer, right?
Thanks for the info what will you give me

the 27c020 ? 2Mbit while the 29f010 ? 1Mbit and put a file inside the 27c020 you should double the file. Important that they are all 2-socket, PLCC, 32-pin. With ECM2001 or another, you can transform the file from 1Mbit to 2Mbit.

I would also like to add, confirming that the 27c020 you clear with UV and is written only with the programmer while the 29f010 you can rewrite it directly with the OBD interface read/write (assuming that the ecu is the same as you allow it).

Thanks for the info... I could explain with ecm2001 or 6.3 virtually how to duplicate the file from the 29f010 to 020? I wanted to ask if he could go for a TN28F020-120 28F020 2048K (256K x 8) CMOS FLASH MEMORY Intel PLCC-32 (gi? bought on e-)?
the 27c in plcc, do not delete, you can delete the dil with the window through uv rays.To use a 27c020 instead of a 27c010 selections on the programmer, the memory (27c020) then in the device address put start 0 and as the end of the length of a 27c010, the programs the first time, and then imposed as the start for the mets? a 27c020, and as the end of the length of the 27c020 and programs the second time.So you can find the map repeated 2 times.I hope that you understood

In fact, I'm wondering if they are compatible with Flash plcc 32...
For the avoidance of any misunderstanding, I will send you a picture of my programmer cos? tell me where where is the device address, ok?
I the willem I do not know, in the imagine I can see the length (size), but does not start, you have to find you when you load up the map(a 27c010)in the buffer memory of willem start address 0000 end 1fff, in the device, to program the first part of the 29f020 you: start device 0000 end 1fff, and to schedule the second part: start device 2000 end 3fff, on my work cos

ok, I have to try. Another question: as a concept, if I instead of doing all these operations, memorizzassi the file from 1Mega, the other Mega on the eprom should not be written, and then would be the empty space in FFF, there? it means that the ecu would read the file that you need (the cio? 1M), as happens for example on a usb stick or on a hard disk, am I wrong? If yes, I could explain in detail why? should not work?
you have to see if the unit starts to read from 0000 or 2000, if it starts from 0000 no problem I think, but if it starts from 2000 finds nothing.I with the old tdd 039 where the map was, if I remember correctly that is contained in a 27c128 dil, I used a 27c256 where in the first part I put on the map and in the second to another map, then there was a pin of the eprom that if the hop-state logic high(5v) was the work of a map, while if you put a low(ground) worked the other.

Boh!... Gi? that we are, and I see that you have experience on the 27c128 dil, I have a Delta integrale that I would like to map, only that I can not find the 27sf128/256, why? I would like to avoid buying the uv oven.... you could give me some clarification? You have had the experience on these ecu's?
I and my ecu I have used it also on a few race cars, modified the bp to get up to 8000 rpm (The last on these ecu stops around 6500 rpm) and the bp load to be able to work on all the curves, I used one of the eight valves,
to map it I have always used an emulator in real time, otherwise these transformations, you got to be crazy(the ecu ? born to work from 300-400 to 2000-2200mbar of a turbo engine, but with a naturally-aspirated arrived to 1000mbar cos? we were to use the met? yes and no load curves if we altered the bp). With regard to twenty-four? of the memories ? a nice problem to? in any case, a toaster oven should have it, already? can't find the memories if not then you can delete them and you have to do some testing ? a casino.

Beautiful, only that an emulator of the genre where can I find it (maybe used at low cost) and how much will it cost me? How does it work practically? Replacing the eprom with one connected to the computer, and then the emulator? I would be interested also for the tdi plcc32!...

with ECM2001, you can double the file by 1 M with the eprom, 2M then the question changes if you want to make 2 maps in the same eprom and swicharle as did the FIAT Multipla Bi Power with the same ecu.

Now the emulator ? prehistory on the series cars, especially the ones that have the memory in the processor

but the car that I should map are:
one of the first years of the 90's and the other 97... maybe it would be a good occasion to find someone that sells it...
I have not found in the trade as a switch for the 2 plcc32...would be interesting! You have no idea where to find it?
according to me, with a plcc32 to the switch, you can do that only if ? a but, if you have 2 (see ecu tdi golf etc) work at a sixteen-bit and the thing ? pi? complicated.the emulator ? you prehistoric times, but when you captain the ecu where the you can use ? very useful and saves you a lot of work.

In the two cases we have a 27c128 dip 28 and two 27c010 plcc 32. On the second while being a pi? complicated, how do you connect the emulator? Where to find these emulators? Maybe used or something else?
to connect the emulator pe the plcc wants us to be a proper adapter, the my emulator ? crafted but I don't have the adapter, where to find the emulator ? pi? difficult, I use it a little but not I would sell it ever, you should find someone who used it with ecm2001, cos? you may also use it with the various ecm2001 that you find around.

if you tell me at least the brand and model of the emulator with the adapters for dill and plcc32 x 2, I take it for a spin, you never know!...
My I took in alien with the software a few years ago', not 'c'? brand name written above.

and the cost?
The cost I don't remember but it was not a little, if I'm not mistaken it's called bit power, according to me, do a search on youtube you can see him also in function.

na cool, but ? cannot find it on the net!
A question you can do it?
And, by the time I dash by in the head to decrease the engine braking on my ecu (VW110 cv PR), why? I do not like, as it does not quite fit with a sporty. I have read a p? around chesulle car on petrol ? possible. Do you have idea of the shape of the curve to change on these type of ecu, cos? me spulcio on the map! Thanks
on the drive gasoline engine braking decreases, acting on the butterfly and on the curves of the cutoff, on a diesel, the butterfly usually only closes when you turn off the engine and do the engine brake ? the high compression ratio, and then to decrease it, you should inject a p? pi? of diesel in the release phase, in order to transform a phase completely passive (0 fuel) lightly active(light injection diesel) and then finding the curves of closed pedal and holding them up to a p? you should get what you want, chiaremente you should increase a p? the diesel fuel at high rpm, and as you get closer to the regime of minimum decrease it to make the inn so you always have a smooth operation, keep in mind that the ecu interpolates more and more? a breakpoint then the changes you make will also affect the values close to those that have been modified on both the axes.

Thanks for the info, but the problem is that the curves of the cut-off on this ecu does not know!... Also to have a graphic form, to verify the range I will need a lot, cos? to find it on my ecu.
