A greeting to all, ? the first time that I do a remapping (with Ecm Titanium 1.61) taking a cue from a map made on my car (Alfa 159 jtdm 150 hp) from a trainer.
Practically now I miss the last step, and the cio? write, but me ? had a doubt, when I did the reading (with mpps v12), I gave it as a file extension ".bin", then after editing it, I renamed ".mod" to keep track of.
At this point I would like to know if before writing I have to rename the extension ".bin".
I thank you in advance.
I s? if you or written in the right section...
with regard to the extension, don't worry.... I usually for comfort? I rename.ori the original files and-mod modified.... but you can write it easily

Thanks guys, however I have also contacted the seller of the MPPS and told me that I have to rename ".bin" before writing...
I'll post the file, I would be grateful if you would give me advice.
the seller gave you a piece of information is not correct, the file you saved from the ecm with the extension .mod you can write tanquillamente with mpps.
you can trust blindly the advice you have been given.

Then if I have well understood, renaming with the ecm at the time of the rescue ? everything is ok, instead I have renamed after the reading and after the rescue .bin .mod (since it already? amended), v? well anyway?

I have seen that goes beneanche if you toglio the extension .or bin .mod. etc.

I confirm, you can call it .foo, or completely remove the extension does not change anything.

All of us? why? ? a binary file and therefore is read by the control unit without the need of the extension .bin, etc
