Hi all, I am new to the field, and I'm putting the first steps in the mapping...I have seen and learned something about the diesel, but now I would like to remap the 500 to my brother-in-law. It has a 500 new 1.2 petrol... C'? a tutorial where you explain more? the criteria to change a gasoline car sucked?

I did some research... I should act on the rev limiter, torque limiter, and injection only, or should I put the hand to the other?

The differences are minimal , if you get 5 hp to me you're okay, maybe change something like the shot but little.
to do a minimum amount of work you have to do the map , complete exhaust system with manifolds and filter.

according to me , you can enjoy a remap, but I agree with spending money on that car.
I'm also interested I the method of the increases in the gasoline, and come to think of it must be even more difficult than the diesel ,primarily because we speak in this case of a coffee machine sucked,second because on gasoline if you make a mistake you pay for the damage....the diesel I see more "forgiving" on the increase.....

hello jolidj I would like to know(if possible) that maps to the addresses 068460 06afc5 and 06d38c, then I saw the increases, and for example 5% on the injection you can give something more?(I ask why? with the gasoline I have worked I would say practically zero)some of the curves didn't change them I don't know if the choice of editing or why? maybe you tested and do not work as hoped...***** s, I have a car available for testing, so all that will skip out will be the growth......you must hack..........

if you dont have a damos nn you can get answers to any address that you can find in the maps.
nn everything that seems to be the map you touch.
on the aspirated once touched advances and injection the rest and just to make + nice map.

jolidj I thank thee for having given the example of a map but before writing any map I would like a little review in order to understand something about what you are doing.....in the map you posted, there are curves out driver that have been changed obviously, something needed, and I just wanted to understand on what is acting on that type of map......I own a grande punto with this engine and then testing we can do...I never put them in smenettare for lack of time but if you want the time is right?!I repeat, I thank you for the great help already given, but if we can make a full guide evil would not have....*****s, as soon as I write the map in the meantime to inform you on how it has changed the car......thanks and good job

first of all you have found a machine of the ec guide little or nothing to do.
I REPEAT . on this machine the maps are a fundamental 2, injection and advance.to explain these 2 maps and trivial for the simple fact that they already have the names that they explain what they are. the conversion of advances and, the map divided by 10. where each of the 6 nr of increase corresponds to 1 degree of advance.
the other maps that I have touched on are maps that manage the sensitivity of the pedal or the maximum aperture , the other maps to handle the maximum torque . "enough, " and that's all (according to me) your step-by-step. I repeat the cv that you take on this engine are minimal, and nn worth the lose time and much less study it. for the conversion of the axes of all the maps in the file it would take the damos , something that I see very, very difficult to find.

I can understand a thing??? how many points are 1 degrees of advance??? as I see from the first example file..... in theory 6 points = 1 degree of advance..... right???
