using mpps to download data from the ecu, the sw indicates the VIN code of the vehicle "masked" and replaced by the characters "y with diaeresis", that is, code 0xFF
that spiegazioe give this behavior ?
- mpps does not detect the VIN ?
- detect it, but the mask does? it is not visible/ultilizabile ?
in addition, in the data file that is written to the HD from the mpps, the VIN ? then this ?
I tried to look for it with a hex editor but I can't find anything - always that the sw has not encoded
