hi, does anyone know if ? can and how to change the hardness of the steering wheel in the cars that have electric power steering? for example, the fiat, which have the city ? be adjusted from the city?

you could do,why you want to do it?

but it must remain constant? or can I adjust it depending on the speed

constant,otherwise ? a change is very challenging
Interested too for my 118D E81, how and where it is necessary to intervene? With GT1 (diagnosis SSS BMW), and then INPA Ediabas not me ? can make any type of intervention (at least from what I've seen), so I gave up *_*! I'd also like to understand how and if ? the user can calibrate the sensor of the steering angle!

qulacuno knows how to make this change ? if ? can about opel astra gtc 2007?
Depends on the car, on some boxes guide ZF c'? a screw where you adjust the hardness of the steering wheel....

I speak from experience...for example, in the group VAG cable vagcom ? possible to intervene on the hardness of the steering wheel in the versions with electro-assisted steering...

eye which tend to spoil the rel? or the sensors of the effort, and if it hardens the steering in a curve ? very nice, in my opinion, less work those rel? better?...

But ? true that in the Fiat cars usually do not recommend the use of the city to avoid overreaching in the power steering?

I don't turn it on ever the City, even why? gi? normal for the steering wheel of the Grande punto ? pi? that maneuverable... and the city is running off at high speed
But why? make more? hard a steering wheel ?

I think you intend to have a command on the pi? stationary speed?, as is the case on some cars, mode? sport or self-regulating systems that go beyond the classic power steering.

Depends on the optional mount, with ncs you can change the hardness if ? active steering in the opposite case ? to change the ecu for the power steering normal

to have more sensitivity!!
But why? make more? hard a steering wheel ?

to have more sensitivity!!
In fact, in the bmw with package m and active steering when you go fullscreen? sport steering wheel always remains dynamic, but it becomes more of? hard

in fact, for a sporty, only, in so doing, it has more of a steering very directional!!

the direzionalit? the steering has nothing to do with the hardness...... or better , the direzionalit? ? a report rpm / rotation (for example, from lock to lock a steering wheel pu? do 3 laps ? more directional than the one that makes 4)
often the change in the hardness does not change the gear ratio of the steering wheel, but only the force of his drive...... so if a box guide 4 laps is cured, it remains always a box guide 4 laps.... in substance it remains the same bad feeling of driving.... (feeling of driving a bus) :)
