View The Full Version : Winols in practice...a clarification.

vince59
I'm studying wionls for appllicarlo in practice.
I was able to understand something more about the maps and about the damos file or map.
Having two files ori hand, the original read with MPPS from the car on which I would like to fiddle with, and one "touched up" got it from a friend of the network I was able to see the differences. I realized that in the changed file of the speeches have been about the EGR, TQ limit, IQ limit, Driverwish 2, duration 1, duration 2.
Now I'm trying to understand more.
I ask for clarification:
- what is the difference between file .mod and .ori?
- the file .mod loads it into the ecu directly?
- with winols you can upload files in the ecu or do I have to use MPPS and cable MPPS (clone)?

Thanks

the difference between the file .ori and .the mod says the extension itself, original and modified, maybe even too simple, that it seems you're joking, the second answer should be accordingly to this before, if you want to change an ecu you need to put the file .mod, it seems to me still more simple ;-) the third answer is no! you can not load the file with winols, you can do it with mpps, even if you personally don't like tool (clone)
it would be better to also know what kind of car and ecu talk just to be more precise.
p.s. of course, I like to joke, even if the answers are right.
