I had no thought at all to open a post.... but there has thought of someone else to do it at my place.... anyway, I also heard that removing the mass air, it switcha on the map.... but even with the damos, are not able to find anything useful.... when it comes to the file of the sdi, the thing I would be very useful for a change to a golf 3 in which the turbine and bigger, always this problem of overflow ;)

I did the same tests on the jtd105, but unfortunately fails..... does not work the same way.... if you disconnect the meter on the jtd100 or 115, it should be in the fixed value at 700mg... if I disconnect on edc16c39 or edc15c5 continue to walk.... but the thing that I understand... on the basis of x to calculate the intake air????

could a p? I read that this mod is based on the elimination of the maf and it is all based on the map sensor swichando mainly the fumes map from maf to map, in fact..
for edc15 for example, if I'm not mistaken there is the polo-golf sdi sucked that has no mass air flow sensor might be useful to compare the files of these cars with those of the same group to see the differences...

in some foreign forum much is said about deleting the maf on the tdi... but a file concrete with ori and mod tested I've never seen one... but I've seen that sidevono move 2-bit to disable the maf and activate the map, then c ? to do is map the inherent limit of the flue gas as a function of the map... if I can find a good example I can provide to post it....

the map replacement mass air flow sensor that I found on the damos audi and bmw edc16 might hit something, or is used only when it detects an anomaly in the mass air flow sensor?

I say... I have never tested nor I have never found a concrete example... if you have a file ori and mod from post.... I would be grateful as I need to me that I have to delete on a golf 3 every now and then size, and tells me I exceeded the maximum mass of air admitted and the car will not walk!!

In the example file, you do it by changing the value of the switch 71C30 (and 51C30) from 0 to 101 hex (257 dec).
But then if you want to inject more do 60mg of diesel fuel for the cycle you have to raise the limiter fuel MAP from addresses 4E32C 6E32C . You can do this directly in 2D, because the table a single value.

The map of the mixture (innezione parcializzato in the ECM) applies to both modes of operation. The two maps in question are entirely made up by a single value, namely : 60mg. Watch in 2d for a flat line.
I tried to drive my passat for a month in the mode MAP, and I agree that there is not any remarkable "revenge" except for the saving of a new MAF....
In theory it should react better because the maf is located at the beginning of the air tube and there is a certain latency of reaction in the process of adjustment..... and the MAP is located near the distributor of air and serves more data in the temp real. But in practice regiscie worse because all the tables in the ecu program and parameters of the PID controllers are calculated to compensate for the latency of the MAF. The result that the drive mode MAP sfumazza a little in acceleration phase.
Just today I saved a MAF. :) And rarely need to buy a new one.
The problem was in the air filter dirty.... But it seems that was dirty of a kind of metal powder - driver. That clinging to the surface of the sensor, put it in short-circuit. The MAF is not a wire, then there is not reason to break up. Even that little bit of electronics over the sensor, it has no reason to die, except if and corroded from aqua that comes when you wash the engine.
To conclude with. I have changed air filter, washed the MAF in an ultrasonic cleaner with a solution of aqua from the faucet and kitchen degreaser.... after risaquato and wrung out , put it in the oven at 70 degrees for half an hour and wala. (I also removed the cover where the wax of the circuit and the dried and riacollato). The car is like new. And the master thought that it was the fault of the FAP.... I saved the breaking of zminuzzarlo and clean the exhaust pipe.

The amount of air measured by the MAF, or calculated by the MAP (pressure) x density of air (Ftemp) x displacement .
Two different routes to arrive at the same result - a working point in the table of the mixture.

when you make the switch you don't do anything that inhibit the map of the MAF and enable the map of the MAP. And eliminating the DTC you can also physically remove the mass air flow sensor and empty it in the pd 130/150/163 that much to that point, you will serve? only to attach the aluminum tube to the filter box.

I have a edc15p vag group, which has been removed physically, the mass air flow sensor, and of course, now the car has no error in ecu.
Place the file ori and the errors:
17552 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Open or Short to Ground
P1144 - 35-00 - -
19561 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P3105 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
One of the errors should be inherent in any error made by the owner in replacing the pipes..
