View The Full Version : Closing the EGR Golf 5 EDC16U. Opinion map
Can anyone give me a look at this map GOLF 5 140CV Bosch ECD16 U. I have the problem the EGR with a pressure relief turbo. I've ruled out the EGR, and increased slightly the values of injection/torque and the car goes much better, but always returns the error P0401 and recovery ONLY in 6th gear. I attach ORI and new mod with only closing the EGR. You tell me if the DTC is deleted? With the previous mod I had zero the 2 cakes to ind. 0D6074 and the one next to it. Upon this I lowered the map to 0D524E and the 2 "horns" (the term is purely ingenieristico). If it does not work so the process with TIME, but for that I clear too many of the DTC, if you were able to locate only the P0401sarebbe better. Thanks for those who had a bit of time to myself.
your mod looks ok, I added p0401 but I advise you to tapparla with sheet
Hello lsd, unfortunately I can not download the file to message count not reached (I think). Can you tell me how did you delete the DTC manually? I tried the map, and shortly after the lamp is lit with error P0401 as I feared, then the change is NOT complete. Should I lower for a few bits? I indicate this address? I would add that besides this error I also the overpressure turbo P0234, and I would not that are connected.
Thanks
Alternatively , if you are not in breach of the forum rules, can I ask you to send in a PM of the file?
For the EGR you need to bring to 0
From 0D524C To 0D5272
From 0D5342 To 0D5368
DTC P0401 and a symptom of the EGR stuck open or has the Geometry blocked or ruptured pipe of the turbocharger..
otherwise, the DTC P0401 door-to-zero 0DAAD5
DTC P0234 and a symptom of the geometry blocked pipe Wastegate or Wastegate the same route..
otherwise, the DTC P0234 door-to-zero 0DABC3
but I would ensure that we correct functioning, otherwise the less worse we put a turbo at 100%
Thanks lsd for the addresses in the map. I had done my tests but I got curves. You have confirmed what I was suspecting, in fact, tomorrow I proceed with the verification of the movement of the EGR ,hoses, and actuators. Then public the results, in case useful to someone who may be having similar problems.
