View The Full Version : Checksum correction New Beetle BOSCH PLCC32 and opinion map

gimarras
hi guys:
I have read the chip in the ECU BOSCH a New Beetle 99 with the programmer TL866 . I made a map with increments and fix the warm start by copying the first part of the map, starting above the second. Can you give me an opinion on the map overall, and calcolarmi or tell me how to calculate the Checksum in these caasi, because the ECM does not calculate it?

I enclose a zip file with Ori and Mod.

thanks

I would like to help you but you have to give me more info to understand something..
HW SW I have to attach separately MDH & MDL..
in addition, the map warm start is not touched, the mod does not like me..

gimarras
Thanks cinqueturbo,
the case of the Ecu BOSCH with the following data on the label:

038 906 018 AP
B00 870219560 0195
0 281 001 732
28SA3745
If the map hot is not one I have touched I can give the address?
I attach a file split.

PS : it seems to me that the map has the same curves are repeated twice at the beginning and the end. And is it normal?

how many vag of course..
then as I imagined you have united the two files to 8bit in the wrong sequence..
first, the LLL is then the HHH test..

Then I don't have a file ori to compare it to so I don't know if your file and read correctly, or has some mod..
that's why the software edit does not allow you to open the driver, and then fails to correct the Checksum..
Selecting you the driver you are riding..
this and the SW 0281001732 the original and then "write copy" 732 and it will find the driver...

these are the maps hot cool
003D02-003D90 Hot
03BD00-03BD90 Cool

the mod I do not like..
you already know that has maps repeated and you have to give the same increments..
in addition, those maps are not what they seem..
Indeed, the ecm does not guess right on these..
I use VAG Suite, you'll find him on the web free and and born for the MSA,EDC15V,EDC15P,and soon also the EDC16-17 Vag
aggiornami..

OK now I try. Then I'll know if I still have not very clear so many things. I had already downloaded VAGEDC15suite but between the language and my gaps tuning, I can not use it. There are guides for the event?

However, I have also read the original chips, but the driver and the checksum with ECM that did not work .

Thanks a lot in the meantime, then I inform you on the results..... with calm so the car is mine.

Cinqueturbo or anyone who I read : Help!!
I was able to read and modify the map of the two chips, which is calculated regularly and I double-checked the Checksum , split the file into 2 128-Kb written back to the 2 chip PLCC32 (AM29F010B) with the programmer TL866A , but the machine will not start.
What could I have wrong?
It is possible that the data included in the chip are larger than 128 kb, and for this it gives error? I had read such a thing on a foreign site but I can't remember the details,
Other tips?

Stop n moment, but you might give meal in the software to edit you have to join the MDH & MDL..
to rename them you need to separate them...
then, once written verification writing these old chips are tough to head to times..

gimarras
Yes, I did just that but the machine will not start. I tried to read the two chip rewritten by bringing together the file and contain the modified map, then the write is successful, but the file at the time of rewriting to be cut, because it seems that the program write the bits to fill the memory on the chip, and this prevents the recognition of the ECU. I believe that it should set the start and end of the write type from 00FF to 01FF (thrown to the case because I have no idea how you count in hexadecimal).

cinqueturbo
I don't know I use GQ4x4 and does not write to the bits in +...
You put MDH & MDL in their place?
Test with the original file maybe you're a bit touched by mistake?
I don't know what to tell you.. you're calm & serene, that the resume 100%

gimarras
Thanks cinqueturbo,
I confirm that I have proceeded as I have written, but with the chip modified.
Put original chips and the car on a regular basis.
Now, do I need to understand how to write them correctly. I open a discussion to part with the title and dedicated and I see if I can find help.
this can close.
