Hello all, a friend mechanic has asked me a hand to start to understand something of this world. Is not concerned with the tuning but basically the removal from the Ecu of the fap and the valve Egr.

I have read articles and posts on the forum, and as far as the programming on the bench, then via bdm, I understand that the programmers most well-known and comprehensive are the Ktag of Allientech and the BDM100 Evc . Am I wrong? are there others to consider?

I repeat, you must only close the EGR and delete the Dpf and nothing else.

Has nothing to do with the fact only close the egr or fap. Even for a single bit to change you still have to read and write the memory of the ecu. The edit then the file is another thing. In network tools I find as long as you want

yes I saw that clones of kess and ktag abound. It remains to be seen if, even among clones, there is something more reliable than others.

Seriously to begin what should you do if you do not have the money to buy hardware and Software of the original ?

Buying k-tag original, and then to work only at the desk, how much do you spend more or less? if I'm not mistaken, you need:
-the tool
-dima
-schedule

then there are the protocols that do not necessarily have to be taken all together right?
Estimated expenditure the minimum?

And then it makes sense to work only in the bdm not in serial?

Hello,I use kess 5.017 and ktag 7.020 with their computers 2.23 the eu,from my experience I can't complain,I have done the ecu as the edc17c64 vag until 2016(at the bench with ktag)edc17c69 of the new renegade and I can say that they are reliable,of course, buy from trusted web sites where someone can give you assistance!

I want to point out that the two examples I have done are to make it clear that with the ecu recent do not have problems,in any case, I have done several others, such as marelli,bosh and siemens, and never a problem!

Search on ****** kess 5.017 and ktag 7.020,sw2.23, plans to spend us $ 200 per device,and cover practically the whole of the car park,I made a new year 2017,of course, don't drive in the list, but looking for the family of the ecu,you also do the new giulia.
