Good Afternoon..
This morning a friend asked me if I could resolve a problem on his passat ,which came after the mapping,which in practice has the light of the glow plugs that flashes all the time... and the hang-up appears, "engine failure".i made a diagnosis, and I have come out the following errors:

I tried to delete them the most? times but promptly reappear.
I have read the ecu and then I compared the serial written on the ecu with those read by obd. and I noticed that they are different.
Can this be the reason of these errors??
I can reset the ecu by simply typing the original file of the ecu?
It is an operation that I have to do the tour in the boot or can I do it from the obd without having to remove the ecu?
Last question mica risk of losing the code immo?

Unfortunately, I forgot the key in the office with the file ori and the one read from the ecu, tomorrow, as soon as I placed the files.
My friend told me that before the map is not lit, no light. The defect of the preparer told him that was a normal thing, and just do a reset with the diagnosis, or leave the battery disconnected all night to turn the light off.

excellent intervention alfajtd I asked the forum to know if someone has had similar problems, and if restoring the software with that indicated on the ecu pu? good to go or do I need to call the carrattrezzi... or to bring the car in to VW.
Anyway, for the record... my friend has contacted the preparer for the file ori has said that it has none of the original files as it didn't need to.... now, the machine does not exceed 3000 rpm and smokes like a chimney

Sorry, but have you checked the tubes of the N75, mass air flow sensor, egr understood as the tubes!!! but then the machine goes into Recovery?

So to recap the situation.. The car before the mapping had not lights are on, or other abnormalities, made the mapping ,I think in the end of the week ? on light flashing of the glow plugs and at each switch on the machine indicates the anomaly engine. Now(stuff for a few hours) I was contacted my friend and told me that the machine does not exceeds 3000 rpm and smokes like an oil tanker...(and then recovery) and at this point I think that there is something mechanical wrong, and if I don't have the car in hand, I can't make any diagnosis.
