View The Full Version : Lancia Lybra 1.9 jtd which ecu?
Hello, I have a question for the forum, I have the car on the option which is mentioned and I would like to what brand and model of the ecu mounts.
The machine ? 2001, I need to see if the lack of connection with the software for the diagnosis ? for not having chosen the right ecu.

if you don't have communication, you should try with another diagnosis and see if it comes or not!!

some models of that series of hard drive you can communicate. Try to select the 156 first series and see if you get...
Hello ppsch, in 2001 should already? be a euro3, and then the control unit mounted on the machine ? a Bosch EDC15C7.
In case you still euro2, ? a Bosch EDC15C5.

depends on the type of diagnosis that you use is professional or not I with texa on those units I've never had problems with dialogue, the proof of the pudding would be to test with another diagnosis...
I confirm to the one that says bart 15C5/15C7 and more secure, the first being 2001, the second was more from euro 4 2003/4
Hi michell, I'm sorry if I insist, but I know rather well Lybra jtd: the first were euro2 and they had Bosch edc15c5 (recognizable even mechanically at a glance for pneumatic EGR) and produced up to '00, the following (from 2000/01) were upgraded to euro 3 equipped with Bosch edc15c7 (and egr operated electrically). I don't think there are any euro 4, why? must be out of production before the introduction of this legislation... :)

From what you tell me, since the EGR with power management and non-pneumatic desumo that the control unit is the edc15c7.
in fact, all the cars are equipped edc15c7 has egr electronic...

if the problem in the car ? a problem with egr,? can be turned off by setting to 0 a single bit of the switch.
What is wrong with this machine?

iosu edc15c7 draw the straight line.... nn I knew that was bit of a switch!!!

In addition to the management of the EGR, you can distinguish the unit installed simply by the power of the motor, in fact: the 105hp ? euro2 and fits Bosch edc15c5, while the 110cv and the 115hp are euro3 mountain and then Bosch edc15c7!
Established, then the correct control unit is installed: which problem? :)

magi1984 has already shared his experience in the matter at the bit to delete the egr, the fact is that you at the moment you can't see it.
