Hi all, sorry for this question ...but I am reading everything...and I always have the ideas confused.
I am a beginer in the field, I'm documenting and I'm doing it for personal pleasure, not for work.
So I ask you, between all the hardware for reading and writing that there are "clones" , which you advise me to take?
I already have Mpps and Galletto (1240-1260 I don't remember what I have, how do I know which version I have?) but I would like to buy something new recently, I'm undecided between the various Galletto v54, Kess v2...
Can you help me advising me in the choice?

hello to all, but with galletto v54 if I have a map read with this tool and modified with winols and exported in the binary to write to, just connect via obd and click on write, or we need to calculate the checksum to the instrument ? is there a safe procedure or is at risk of damage if something is missing?

If you've used winols "good" cks te lo has already changed him at the time of export. But the second that the car is the same as v54 you corrects it in writing

At the time of writing if the ecu is supported and asks you if you want to correct the cks. If you make the claim you say yes and you're good to go

galletto does not correct for edc15 and siemens of the old ford, while the kess fixes on all of them.
some times pallano is winols that titanium correction.

thanks for the tips , but then as I feel the edc17? on my machine I don't think go well
read, write,do ecuid etc.. is already a great way to try
after writing a mod file it review the ecu and compare to see if the tool corrects the checksum on write
I am always I , if I had read the map earlier, and after changes uploaded (not by me ) I wanted to reload the map ( 2 mb) that I have read I can select it and click write normally? or combine them in trouble ?
